If you could only have one fishing rod and reel what would it be? Also what’s your favorite Combo? Brand ,model, action?
If I could only have 1 it would be a Shimano Poison Rod 7ft 2 HMF paired with a shimano bantam.

So as you can see. It's a NRX 852s with a Vanford. Also in the pic is a Shimano Poison Adrena with a Curado 70 and a Leviathan bass rod which I sold with a Shimano Curado DC which I also sold. What you can't see is on my other side of my garage is a Zodius with a Bantum. If you have read my other post this NRX tip broke and I got my money returned and I have one waiting for me preordered. I don't buy a ton of rods and reels but when I do they are nice. I have Ken A to blame for getting me addicted to high end gear.

I am not trying to brag I don't own a big bass boat and have never caught above a 9 pound bass. I do own a Pelican 10ft bass boat. I mostly fish ponds and small lakes. My dad did recently buy a nice bass boat which is awesome.

I am thinking about selling my Zodias and poison rod to get an NRX 853c after hearing all the good reviews

My 6’10” medium Falcon Shaky Head rod, with the Shimano Stradic Ci4 reel. I use it for wacky rigged senkos. That setup, or ones similar, have paid for two boats. I use it every time I fish. agree, especially if you wanna fish for bluegill or crappie too.

Ibock, Maybe he was caught off guard by you dirty joking to someone you don't know. He simply asked to see a pic of your fishing combo. Maybe he deserves an apology for an inappropriate joke from a stranger.....think about it. Face to face things come across different most times. That's what I don't like about social media, strangers sharing good info and also hurting feelings because we don't know a person's past life experiences. I'm off the soap box...
