Same handfull of mutual funds our 401K offers. Haven't moved anything in over 25 years. I just let it ride.

It just shows how overpriced the market is due to billions in stimulus, not many fundamental involved.

My S&P 500 mutual fund had over 50% for the previous 12 months.

Your fixing to see the one of the largest 2 to 3 year booms you have ever seen in your life.

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run

don't be "that" guy talking about what he HAD in his account(s)

That's exactly why I'm nervous.

Do your research, pick a number you are happy with and then adjust to protect your profits while still maximizing your "safer" earning opportunities.

Investing is still a huge risk even in a bullish market (or covidish market) as we are in now. Especially if you are anywhere close to retiring.

The market likes stability which is slowly returning. Of course there will be some bumps along the way, but I agree it is poised to do well over the long stretch. I'm staying with my moderate risk 60/40 portfolio at the age of 75.

I've taken enough out of mine that I am making money now just off the capital gains. All easy money now, so if there is a crash, I have lost nothing of my own.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

WOW, the numbers I'm reading here are fabulous. Mine is way more conservative. I'm no expert, mainly follow the advice I'm given but if I had more Years to risk I would be asking why I'm not a part of this?
Congratulations for all of you in the 50% + range. You be smokin!

The returns being mentioned are mostly due to the market being way down on March 31 last year - and the market steadily increasing ever since.
