Thanks Okie, we have the right places to look. Property is along the Red River in North Texas. Didn't know if it was getting to hot for them.

Found out our national forest land that burns in wildfires is a boom for them up here. Talked with a friend that found loads of them last year so we're going to go look in a month or so, or when soil temps get right. Half the forest west of town burned last year and another part 3 years ago.

Def not too late, these were found yesterday but thats after aprox 5 miles of HARD walking in the woods!! And if your forearms don't look like this, u ain't trying hard enough smile
