Awesome thread. I may add that as a result of all the negative news about Texas people will decide not to move here. That would not bother me one bit. God Bless texas

Sorry me mentioning reality rained on your parade. Like I said, I saw a lot of good as well... I understand the desire to shine a light on that. It's a worthy cause, there are a whole bunch of awesome people in Texas.

You mention good things but explain the bad, how about switching it up.

Haven’t seen anything but good. Had lots of PVC, fittings and neighbors Dad is a plumber. He is old, but directed us how to repair 2 neighbors busted lines. Did it in the dark, with headlamps and beers in hand. If that ain’t Texan you can kiss my [censored].

I never get to see a massive brawl. I don't even get to see mini brawls anymore. And I go to Home Depot a lot. I'm going to be in Texas this weekend, anyone know the best brawl places?

Texas is one of a kind for sure

I think Wyoming is a lot like the old Texas without the implants moving in

I don't live in Texas anymore, but I can confirm that the friendly, helpful and giving nature of people in Texas is alive and well. Taking care of each other is what happens. As soon as I can I will move back.
