I'll be praying for him.
My uncle has been in the ICU with pneumonia since 1/1. He has been off sedation since Saturday and still won't wake up. He's on the ventilator still, but they are about to extubate him and do a tracheostomy tomorrow. He has been Covid negative every time they've tested him, I think 6 times...I hear people with Covid can sometimes take weeks to wake up once sedation stops, but they have no idea why my uncle won't wake up. He is/was extremely sick... Prayers up. Was hoping for a more positive update

Well gang, I'm asking one more time, prayers for the family, his wellbeing, and safe travels for his kids as they drive in. Doctors have given us a less than hopeful next 24 hours. Sad, sad, sad day.

prayers on the way.
I was quarantined for 12 days. First six was in the hospital. No ICU, but I felt terrible. Had to have help to sit on the side of the bed to pee.
That stuff is bad. Not seeing family is bad...for patient and family....God be with you.
