Don’t buy a vizio. I have one and it’s almost unwatchable.

We have 3 Samsungs. Good picture and decent price. I can't say I'm crazy about the whole built-in smart tv stuff tho. I prefer to have a display that I can setup the way I want...I'm an IT guy so I don't need all the pre-loaded apps.

Ours are a 55inch, 43 inch and a 40 inch.

I run sound thru a Denon receiver but a sound bar is something to consider if you don't have a receiver with HDMI inputs for different things, i.e. blu-ray player, xbox, etc. and a HDMI out to your tv. I also stream all my stuff thru a Fire tv cube and use an antenna for off the air stuff. I got more techy [censored] in my house than the average person...ethernet over the power lines, wifi hubs and extenders, gigabyte hubs, cisco commercial grade firewalls.....and so on....:)

Samsung 75" for less than $850!

I have a couple buddies who aren't Sam's Club members that I have bought TV's for in the past.

The company I retired from had hundreds of Samsungs with minimal problems that were shipped and returned all over the country every year.

Had a Vizio , and the picture tube went out. they fixed it and still watch it some. We have two LG's now .

Another stay away from Samsung. Last one I bought I added the extra 2 yr warranty. TV went out one month after warranty was up! Called Samsung and was told more or less your [censored] out of luck. Dont like visio or lg. Samsung has a better picture, but never again! Check out TLC, good picture and good aps. Just my 2 cents.

Tv are super cheap now I just put a 75 inch in my shop and it was only 730 delivered and haul away the old 60 inch.

Just make sure you get a smart tv, 4k, motion rate 120 not 60 if you watch napcar sports etc etc.

One thing I miss on my current living room tv is that my old one used to have volume equalization, so the commercials stayed the same volume as the show, the tv I bought for my living room a few years ago doesnt have that and the commercials on some channels are extremely loud.

A year ago I would have said the same thing, but when we built our house last year I bought an 85" Bravia for the great room. Everything was fine and great until the other day I turned it on and noticed a little green dot towards the left hand corner upon closer inspection a pixel had busted and now projects a perfect right triangle line across the screen. I contacted Sony and they pretty much told me to pee up a rope because my warranty was 2 days past.

No need to spend 1K on a 65inch 4K TV unless you do film editing

there are like 2 channels that are in 4k not a make or break deal for me.

uhd is awesome tho, watchin matrix revolutions in hd on amc, picture is incredible on this new tv.
