Brick is a good insulator.
Slab gets cold, that's why carpet used to be so popular.
Have carpet...love carpet. No brick at the lake house...it's that asbestos siding (built between 1950 and 1965 depending on what part we're talking about). Even then, the guest house is a slab and that one rarely needed the heater. asbestos siding is 1 of the best products EVER

Tractor Supply fills my grill propane tank for about $7 and also treats the Covid with ivermectin.

First time in 3.5 years, 225 gal.. I think I'll refill once a year during the summer from now on when gas is cheaper. How often do you add propane to your tank? How many gallons? That is the way to do it!

500 gal here. Two adults/two kids with gas water heater and furnace. I usually have to fill it 2-3 times a year. Not cheap. It’s monitored and usually drops to about 20% before they swing by. Around $700-$750 to fill each visit. I wish city gas was an option.

Our cooktop and tankless water heater are propane, we fill our 250 gallon tank once per year.
