Update on Mark Pack from his wife Donna at 6:30 pm on Jan 1 2021.......
Chest tube out. Lung expanding as it should. FIO2 is at 70. Peep @ 10. Has to be 50/8 before they’ll do trials to see if he can breathe on his own. Feeding tube in so he won’t be “hungrier than a hostage!” There is no time frame but so far so good. Tiny improvements... I’ll take it. Thanks to you all for your prayers and support!

Mark is still on the vent and knocked out. The good news is they have reduced his O2 level some while his pressure on the vent is still the same -moderate. He is stable.
His wife Donna is very happy with the care he is receiving. One less worry for her.
