As a senior with his athletic ability I'll bet he had offers from several colleges. Not any more. That behaviour just changed his life forever. Like HasBen said, in 5 years he will be in prison or killed by thug violence.

Don't think the #88 will be the last number he wears around is neck one day. I envision several mug shot photos. Hope he has room for prison tats.

Doesn’t surprise me with the thugs in Edinburg. One of the reasons we moved out of the Rio Grande Valley.

I am a school teacher, and I have been since September 11, literally, that day was what got me into teaching 2 weeks later, but that is not the point of my post.

As a school teacher, I have watched for 20 years how the education system has gone soft, gone liberal and is instilling a mindset to kids that they can do anything they want with very little consequence.

I teach in the Plano ISD at a very nice school. Over Thanksgiving break an art competition was judged over student submissions.

The girl who won is a good artist, and from my school, and what was her submission?
It was a drawing/painting with people, arms up, displaying the "peace" mentality, we need to all get along, end racism, and it had a person wearing a "blm" shirt!!!!!

There are lots of conservative teachers in the system, and we talk about this stuff amongst ourselves, but we know most likely that we are outnumbered.

No God in school, no prayer, stand/don't stand and say the pledge, don't do your work, but in the end, we are told to be graceful with grades.
In the end, kids don't stand a chance of learning how to be respectful to themselves or others.

Am I exaggerating? Not really, and there are lots of really good kids who do learn respect, but the reason there are so many who don't, it's because of what they are taught and not taught from kindergarten to 12th.
If they go to college these days, God help them. The leftist indoctrination system of college will ruin them if parents don't instruct along the way.

Addendum: Consequence is mentioned throughout life to young people in our country, but often times, it's not experienced.

What ever happened to the two players and coach that told the players to attack the ref. a few years ago.

Back in, I think, 2007 this happened at a high school game at Texas Stadium. The play started and a kid levelled the ref intentionally.

A few years later he became a cop in Euless.

So...maybe there is a job in law enforcement in this idiot's future, too.
