I hope this works I will post after testing

I took an old donor motor-guide gutted all the wiring and cut the shaft down. Made up my own compact head for cable and gear and for now using the foot pedal from it.

I hope to test it this week some time

Thanks guys, I like doing stuff like this. I have an idea for a lever to operate rather than pedal if the pedal ends up being a pain

also have a lower shaft support to steady it. Just haven't figured out how to make it quickly removable.

Am I reading this right? You’re going to have two pedals? One for the trolling motor, and one for the transducer?

I will be curious to see how that works out. Please keep us informed.

Finally have some test trips on this, foot pedal was a pain built a lever system mounted to the right of my graph. Went and tested with a buddy(soft tap) yesterday and while fishing was poor the pole worked great with lever. We did find that we needed a pointer on the head to know where its pointing so I made that last night.

I think he took some pics or video I will see if he can post them

Good to hear the test went okay. interested to see the lever!

the Livescanner version apparently has an adjustable scan speed compared to the Live Sweep Cornfield crappie version. seems they realize you need a different speed to scan for structure and a slower speed to find your jig, etc.
