Soft woods only, like pine. Throw some cones in with it when doing beef. Skip the cones but soak the pine in doe urine for fish.
Get a couple chunks of Good Year tire rubber burning first in the fire box to lay down a good base. It'll keep the heat up between the loads of pine you'll be shoveling in. To me you lost all credibility with the doe urine with fish thingy- Everyone knows urine does wonders for pork-Duh. I urinate all my meat Do you beat your meat also? Before urinating or after?

I know you are a pellet grill aficionado, but if one were to be a stick burner fanboy, would you have any advice on wood? Bark or debarked? Type of wood? How long should said wood cure or season prior to being used in the smoker? TIA. Inquiring minds want to know. Also extremely curious to hear his recipe for tacopancake.
