I hope they keep it closed , at least to tournaments, that poor lake gets pounded early in the year. Let's not get carried away here. Where are you going to patrol now wiith Squaw being shut down? Portland or Seattle???

As long as their are any restrictions imposed by the State or Federal government in the name of Covid they will use that as an excuse to keep the lake closed.

They should limit the boats to 50 a day and increase fee to $100 a boat There wouldn’t be 50 boats if they charged $100. Lol The fishing would improve and $100 isn't that much money, so I would bet it would stay booked far in advance...

The “problem “ with Squaw Creek having too many 2 to 2 1/2 pound fish may not overfishing, it may be under fishing. When 50 boats a day can go out there and catch 50 to 100, 2 - 2 1/2 pound fish, maybe it indicates there are too many fish of that size in the lake and they need to come out. I think the problem is there are so many fish that size in the lake 100 boats a day taking out 10 at a time wouldn’t make a dent. With the large number of 2 to 2 1/2 pound fish it is difficult for any fish to get much larger.

I am 75 now. Have my Senior Pass for Federal Parks. Corps of Engineers ramps any where in the country are free. Love it. 😎

To catch 2 1/2 pounders? $30 is extremely too expensive to fish that overrated lake. $100 and no one would ever fish that POS. You must be rolling in the cash.

It's worth a $100 bucks if I knew I wasn't going to get shot if I left my headlights on at the ramp

Where else can you go and catch 100 fish during Christmas break? Id pay $100 no problem to do that. Shoot I paid a guide $500 one time to take me out on Lake Fork and we caught 3 fish. $100 is a bargain! IMO!

I love that lake for numbers and feel the current cost is about right. I wouldn't pay $100 for the experience however. I find it hard to believe anyone would call it a POS. I'm a terrible fisherman and always catch 25-40 fish in a day there. I HATE the morning line, but it moves relatively quickly and usually everyone is friendly. Unlike some other public ramp areas. I can prove the lake is great. I can't catch fish anywhere else most of the time. LOL!
