looks like he may have pulled his punch a little to just graze the side of her face....if he had hit her solidly,I believe her head would have been knocked backward and she would have hit the floor......also believe he got a bunch of spit in his face which triggered his response...

Punch from cop notwithstanding, why does anyone think getting up in a cops face like that is ok? Better question is why did he let the situation escalate that far. There's ways to deal with people who are very angry and upset to reduce tension... but he never took control of the situation. And then he let her provoke him into taking a swing. Extremely Bad situational awareness and control. Bad self control. Sorry, but ... no. Blah Blah Blah, She deserved exactly what she got... no tears being shed here...

Mixed emotions. and thats bad for me. What has this world come to. 30-40 years ago I would never thought there was a reason to unleash a slap on a woman. And now I think maybe she deserved that...

Wow. That is so incredibly wrong on so many problematic levels. Lawsuit! And she'd win! Unmasked, possibly infected, aggressively getting in my face to where I felt spittle hitting my face, I was forced to take defensive measures per my fear of death from covid 19.....chapter 9 of the TPC Now, I don't understand why he did not just take control of her stupid [censored] without that love tap, but articulate the law and circumstances makes it sound different.....if you've never been in a use of force situation, you really don't know, and typically speak from emotions rather than fact

I’m small and squishy and have gotten hit before. But as someone who has made a 25 year long career of dealing with problem customers, it didn’t need to happen.
