First time trying to tie these game changers. Id like to think I did a decent job roflmao

1st tie on top at 2.75" ish
2nd tie on bottom at 3" ish (I think this one looks way better)

I think I need to use a bigger hooks though. I used size 4 hooks and they are barely being covered by the fibers.

I have yet to used them. Hopefully them largies will eat these fish

Look great to me. What type of fiber is that?

One area I had to make adjustments on was eye placement. Depending on your shank length, if you put the eye right there on your hook shank, you could build up a glob of superglue that blocks off a portion of the hook gap. Now I am very careful how much glue is used, and try to keep the eye on the upper half of the shank.

Lost 3 fish for not being able to get the hook set in order to learn that lesson.

Thanks for the tip for the eyes. I tried to put the least amount of glue on the bottom side of eyes as possible, but I see what you mean. There is not a big gap between eyes and hook point. I will have to play around with that too.

I am using Chocklett's Gamechanger chenille in the minnow grey color. Fibers are about .5" long(i think). I am going to try and experiment with other stuff as well though.

What colors you got? Why are you giving up on the GC? PITA to tie reasons, or not catching fish reasons?
