It'd make more sense to start the school year in June and prepare to be in lockdown again come October.

If parents are going back to work, why wouldn't kids go back to school? I agree with you at some point we have to try to get back to some kind of normal, it makes no sense for part of the country to be locked down and some not ie construction is wide open , but dentist are closed.

If parents are going back to work, why wouldn't kids go back to school? Something about snot-nosed, virus-laden, saliva spewing, disgusting little germ repositories comes to mind

Graduation scheduled for sometime in June. She is definitely not happy though.
