After several much more expensive digital scales just quit working, I went with this one and have been very pleased: KastKing Waterproof Floating Digital Fishing Scale with No-Puncture Lip Gripper. Dual Mode - Pounds/Ounces & Kilograms. 0-50 Lbs/22.68 Kg, Lightweight ABS Frame, Non-Slip Handle. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C3SDV44/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QeSGEbDBG69FAInexpensive, waterproof, easy to read, and waterproof

Rapala. This one. Don’t know the model number, but it’s dead on with our certified tourney scale. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/03/full-93588-45184-b338f7d7_f5b7_42d1_b5c5_3ae758343ac2.jpeg)

I really like the Berkley precision digital scales, they are colored for culling instead of numbers

I have owned several sets of these scales. All have weighed 2-4 oz Light at 10# Here is my new set. I took a 10# bag of sugar to the butcher shop & weighed it. Then I put the same bag of sugar in a plastic bag and weighed it with my hand held scales. The handheld scales are a little over 4 oz Light at 10# Normally if I am down at Fork I will take a bucket and put it on the digital scale at LFM and fill it with water until it reads 10.00 then I weigh the bucket with my handheld scales. My last set was 3 oz Light at 10# ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/03/full-19947-45222-img_2435.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/03/full-19947-45223-img_2434.jpg)

If you're using the scales for culling, they don't have to be dead on accurate. They just need to be consistent. And they need to weigh in hundredths of a pound.

I've got a digital scale made by Rapala. It's compact, pretty accurate and fairly cheap.
