Did a search and couldn't find any results so what do you use for handheld scales?

After several much more expensive digital scales just quit working, I went with this one and have been very pleased:

KastKing Waterproof Floating Digital Fishing Scale with No-Puncture Lip Gripper. Dual Mode - Pounds/Ounces & Kilograms. 0-50 Lbs/22.68 Kg, Lightweight ABS Frame, Non-Slip Handle. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C3SDV44/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QeSGEbDBG69FA

Inexpensive, waterproof, easy to read, and waterproof

Rapala. This one. Don’t know the model number, but it’s dead on with our certified tourney scale. [Linked Image]

I really like the Berkley precision digital scales, they are colored for culling instead of numbers

I have owned several sets of these scales. All have weighed 2-4 oz Light at 10#

Here is my new set. I took a 10# bag of sugar to the butcher shop & weighed it. Then I put the same bag of sugar in a plastic bag and weighed it with my hand held scales. The handheld scales are a little over 4 oz Light at 10#

Normally if I am down at Fork I will take a bucket and put it on the digital scale at LFM and fill it with water until it reads 10.00 then I weigh the bucket with my handheld scales. My last set was 3 oz Light at 10#

Only scale allowed in my boat has been Accu-Cull. I've had nothing but failures with other brands. The Accu-Cull has been dead on the weight for me.

The newer Rapala scale with the black / white contrast screen, as seen above, has been touted as being quite accurate. Seems like SteezMcQueen agrees.

fish Hi avid saw your post. hOW LONG have you had the scales? Have you read reviews on tackle warehouse? NOT too many people pleased. One guy musted of been HOTT the red handle melted in storage on HIS NEW Ranger into carpet, then he threw in lake. Antway curious how long you had it. May go w/ rapala.

If you're using the scales for culling, they don't have to be dead on accurate. They just need to be consistent. And they need to weigh in hundredths of a pound.

I've got a digital scale made by Rapala. It's compact, pretty accurate and fairly cheap.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

This is a bit more heavy duty. And the one I use.
