I am hoping experiences like this bring to light how important corporations/businesses are to our very existence. I see people attacking them all the time but when its how your well being is sustained, maybe friendly business environments, tax breaks, ect… won't seem so bad.

Different generation, than today. The excitement of that new truck, boat or house are too much. This is the 1st real correction for the market since 2008. Most don't remember what the market was like before then for sure, but it was brutal.

Employees can be employed but still draw unemployment benefits, if they are working a "reduced work schedule".

It may not be what you were making but it will pay some bills.

Can I come out to Rowlett too? I’m hoping you got the liquor stocked.

The people complaining are the same ones that have been arguing for $15/hr minimum wage.

Good deal. Advantage of working for a large corporation that believes in taking care of it's employees. I work for a small business. We're working until we are forced to close. Then it's let the chips fall.

Sure, 17 drive through liquor stores. Booze flying off the shelves. Drones will deliver it to you. I'm shooting my liquor IV style.

Good deal. The hospital I work at said even if I catch the virus from a patient, I must use my PTO to self quarantine. Nice way to ensure patient care if some of the staff doesn't want to treat you because they don't have 80 hours PTO.

Same thing here, different industry. I'm not allowed over time pay and if we get sick or injured on the job, we have to use our vacation time if we want to get a check.

I think it is a heck of a deal. They don't have to do anything. Sounds like they are trying to take care of their employees the best they can.
