frog legs...we used to sit on the dam and shoot'm with a 22...don't even see a frog big enuf 2 shoot nemore...

fried bologna and gravy...dang i miss that

bullnuts...my uncle was a real cowboy...he'd bring us 5 gal bukits full of nuts...we'd freeze'm n those wax milk cartons...dang i'm hungry

Swanson TV dinners. We had them at least once a week growing up. Mom and Dad made it a fun festive treat, eating those on TV trays in front of "Wheel of Fortune.". I had no idea we were poor.

What you said. Also I still eat pinto beans but not at every meal like we did growing up. It's been a long time since I have had ham salad made from Spam or had a Underwood Deviled Ham sandwich. Won't eat potted meat or Vienna sausage unless I am really bad hungry. We also ate lots of fried bologna and fried Spam growing up.

Swanson,Banquet or Birdseye, Which ever was 5 for a dollar. Later in life I stepped up to Nighthawk from the convenience store.

Good thing I grew up poor taught me as a plant operator and pipeliner that I can eat almost anything if I have to.
