I broke my carolina rig rod, and I need to replace it. Can anyone recommend a good replacement rod for around $125 or so? I prefer a 7' 6" rod. Thanks

I like the Bass Pro Jonny Morris CarbonLite rods. We have been using them for years and have several.

Call Dobyns Rods. They are selling their new Kaden line for $100 + $20 shipping. These rods will retail for $200/ea once officially launched to the market. They have a 7โ4โ 5 power model that should do you well

I use my 735 Extreme for 1/2oz football head jigs and 1/2 oz shaky heads.

Couldn't find any info on their website but googled it and yeah the Kaden line is named after his grandson and is being released for testing now. They have 2 models for crigs that might interest you. 7'1" Heavy and a 7'1" mag heavy. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/02/full-94570-38340-screenshot_20200201_075427_chrome.jpg)

I use an Abu Veritas 7โ6โ MH and it works good. Now I donโt C-Rig much but Iโm really picky about a rod being comfortable during the cast and this one works well for a $100 rod.

I use one that is a little above your pay range. The Dobyns Carolina rig rod, 8'ft rod with a 4 power setting. GREAT rod for the C0rig. I have recommanad it to a lot of people an most love it, too. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Sounds like I need to drive up to the new Dobyns store in Sulphur Springs. Twenty minute drive for me. Hope the Kadens are on sale.

I like the Falcon Low Rider Lizard Dragger, both I and II. Not sure if the new series has a Lizard Dragger but they are in your price range.

If you drive up and they have a returned (not sure why anyone would return one) Dobyns DC 804C that Thad mentioned on sale, I would be all over that. Thats the favorite rod I own

Unless your just dead-set on wasting $$$$$.....find a 7' med-heavy Berkley Lightning. Under $50 and practically perfect for most C-rigging chores. You're welcome.
