JMO, I have had several old vette and have one in the garage now, but there is no comparison between and old (50-60) model Vette and a new or newer Corvette. Comfort, performance, reliability, etc are all better in a newer car. I bought a 2001 Z06 when they came out and it convinced me. Buy an old one as a hobby, but buy a new one to enjoy on the road.

I had a 66 Roadster 327/300hp. I was happy when I drove it. The T10 is for real on the shifting. I say yes.

Houston Corvette Service reportedly had 15 corvettes in the shop for restoration and repair when their building collapsed due to the explosion. One of their last pre-explosion social media posts featured a video of a gorgeous 1964 Corvette in the final stages of restoration.

Love Corvettes. All of them are stylish. I have a 98 (Motor Trend car of the year), red convertible with black top, 19000 miles in show-room condition. Am considering selling it. If interested, PM me.
