At the hunting camp with whatever deadfall wood we can find and a bottle of whiskey. If I could figure out a way to get a paycheck for poking a campfire while sipping whiskey I'll never retire.

Everglades National Park.. you can only build a fire below the high tide line. One time I woke up and looked out tent and there was a big redfish nosing through the remnants of where my fire had been the night before. Caught my snook, trout, and redfish slam from the bank before I even took a leak that morning. Never a dull moment.

Incredible sunset from my trip there this past July.

Leaving this Saturday to spend a couple of weeks fishing.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Lost somewhere in the woods of East Texas or mountains of Montana.
