 8 mile in Galveston

This may already be old news to ya'll but just in case... I'm no longer a yakker but rented a bay house off of Sportsman's road last weekend. Noticed that they have the entire area at the end of 8 mile road (past the left onto Sportsman's) closed off for development. So to fish that area, you need to hand a left at Sportsman's and launch at the little turnaround at the end. In other news, we limited on trout, reds and flounder all in that area.

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!
