Check the fuel lines first. A friend of mine had a basscat that did that exact same thing and after alot of worry it turned out to be a pinched gas line. Good luck!

Replace your fuel filter while you are at it. It may be clogged up.

Full maintenance was done I'm may. That shouldn't be a problem.

Did you check your primer bulb? That’s the first thing to check in situations like that.

Sounds like a fuel restriction issue to me! It idles and slight increase of throttle suggest that. Try replacing your fuel filter, check your lines for restrictions also. It could also have to do with fuel pump pressure, carburetor or a restriction to the injectors. If you had a spun hub it wouldn't bog down, your RPMs would jump up when your accelerate but the boat wouldn't gain speed. Usually when you spin a hub you can barely idle in on it. Any acceleration at all once it is spun will cause it to slip inside the hub, at least that has been my experience.

It never died, was running and the boat just came to a stop, almost as if it was put into neutral. It never stopped running and ran smoothly. I could give it slight throttle and it would idle but when I gave it more to get on plane it just would rev up and not go anymore.

I don't think anyone actually read this, they just wanted to tell you what happened to their boats roflmao

Had this happen to me before. When I went to get on pad, my battery moved slightly and pinched the fuel line.

Battery issues can mimic fuel issues.

Had very similar issue like this happen even after replacing fuel lines and fuel filter...what we found was a slight cut in the fuel pump diaphragm.

coach, since your boat wouldn't get on plane or run I think it may be a nuclear fuel injection issue with the flux capacitor.

If the prop has a spun hub you can easily tell by doing the following:

With the boat on the trailer, and the engine NOT running put the motor in gear. Now go to the prop and see if you can spin it by hand.

If you can it has a spun hub.
