I personally like and have the Diawa Elite rod...but I also have a Lews rod for it as well. Both work out great, when I'm dragging a jig around 1/4 oz.

Fasts tip, medium heavy unless its more then 15 feet deep. Then up the power on the backbone a bit. Like go from 8-17 to 10-20pds
When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

Good info here! I broke my finesse jig rod a year ago, and have struggled to find the right replacement.

Falcon “Weightless Worm” model works for me. Lowrider or Cara line depending on budget.

I use a Falcon Cara Head Turner. The Bucoo Finesse Jig rod is a great bang for the buck. I'd at least give them a feel before making a purchase

did falcon discontinue the caras i don’t see them on their website might get the 6’10 fineness jig I believe the Expert series replaced the Caras. Forgot about that since I still have Caras and haven't got any of the new series yet

dang the expert version of the 6’10 seems to be a heavier power than the cara though on tackle warehouse it says they will get more caras in october

I use a nrx 853 for finesse jigs or even a 852
