I personally like and have the Diawa Elite rod...but I also have a Lews rod for it as well. Both work out great, when I'm dragging a jig around 1/4 oz.

Fasts tip, medium heavy unless its more then 15 feet deep. Then up the power on the backbone a bit. Like go from 8-17 to 10-20pds

Good info here! I broke my finesse jig rod a year ago, and have struggled to find the right replacement.

Falcon “Weightless Worm” model works for me. Lowrider or Cara line depending on budget.

I use a Falcon Cara Head Turner. The Bucoo Finesse Jig rod is a great bang for the buck. I'd at least give them a feel before making a purchase

I believe the Expert series replaced the Caras. Forgot about that since I still have Caras and haven't got any of the new series yet

dang the expert version of the 6’10 seems to be a heavier power than the cara though on tackle warehouse it says they will get more caras in october

When the NRX first came out there were reel seat issues but that has been long since remedied.

My #1 choice for finesse jigs would be the Dobyns 743c F/H. I absolutely love this rod for lighter stuff. http://dobynsrods.com/rod/dx-743c-fh/
I have mine paired with a Diawa Tatula 100 and they feel as they were made for each other.
