I would light some people up like a Christmas tree until this is taken care of properly
I loath car dealerships, especially Toyota—great vehicles, but the BS at the dealership infuriates me
When I had a Saturn, I was treated like royalty at the dealership, but Toyota will try to aggressively milk you for every penny

If windshields were part of the warranty then it would have been fixed/replaced under warranty and the codes associated with that repair would have also been fixed. You’re trying to get them to fix something that is not covered by the warranty for free.

Why should the dealership or manufacturer pay for a fly by night glass companies screw up? Yup. They didn’t break it and now they’re supposed to fix it??? “I replaced the screen on my day old iPhone and now it doesn’t work and Apple won’t fix it for free.”

As for your wife windshield problem up on the rearview mirror is the module for the adaptive cruise control. When the windshield is replaced it needs to be calibrated. Most competent glass shops have the ability to do this. Actually if their good they can replace the glass without having to do it. Second cause is the wrong windshield was used. Vehicles that have this feature use a windshield that is void of tint and UV in that area. Either way if your insurance paid to replace it call them. If it was out of pocket blame the company that replaced the glass. Oh and lighten up. Your wrapped way too tight and seem to blame all your problems on the rest of the world. Accept responsibility and grow the frig up.

My company car has that same [censored] on it, but the sensors aren't in the glass. There is a camera on each side of the rear view mirror. Can you take it to another Toyota dealer, don't tell them that you had the glass replaced and have it fixed under warranty?

So dealer is responsible for broken windshields now......didn’t know that. Good customer service is not want 400 bucks to reprogram sensors on a 6 week old car. Put a tow package on my Wife's 2017 and my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Dealer charges $175 to hook the car up to a computer to enable the car to use trailer lights. No one else can do it. Jeez.

Alternatively, if you wanted to do some surgical boycotting, I would also agree to boycott the iPhone screen only.
