About how many did you buy? We have an 8 acre tank that I wanna stock? 1,500 fingerlings after we stocked all of the forage fish. We had mostly de-stocked the pond first and luckily we have a lot of grass in it so lots of hiding placing and I'm hoping for some big fish sooner rather than later.

Hope its less than shooting a big buck behind a high fence  The big difference of course is that you can see the deer and a buck can't choose to not eat your bullet. Plenty of people have tough outings on CB. Certainly your odds are way higher on private water, but it is not anything comparable to high fence hunting. Congrats to the OP on an awesome day on the water!
