I store mine in the simms reel case, it has a Velcro divider system that works perfect for holding the sunline bulk spools. The compartments are perfect size as well to leave the spool in while you are re-spooling your reel, the spool spins freely with slight tension while down in the divided compartment. Works awesome.

I made this one and a longer version from 3/8 aluminum rods and 1 aluminum angle. Long one for storage and shorter one for the boat.
