Ill just leave this here..... Its harder to make it in baseball and he wouldnt see the big leagues for about 3-4 years. Baseball players dont make big money until their 2nd or 3rd contract. Riding busses and living in hotels for 3-4 years would suck. 1st round draft picks in football make a lot more on the first contract over baseball and hed be on an NFL roster next year.
^^^^^^^^^ this Just not sure how they will use him in the NFL though. Is he willing to do play where ever they want him to do or am i just a qb attitude
People will only do to you what you allow them to do.

but if he is as good as advertised he would make well over $150M guaranteed money on his first real contract (actually his 2nd or 3rd). Best he'll get as a NFL QB is 20-30M in for sure money. A 2nd baseball contact isnt guaranteed. What if he doesnt make it? What if he gets hurt? He will go in the first round and be on an NFL roster in 2019. Not riding a bus, living in a hotel, but on an NFL roster with endorsements day 1.

Yes, he looked pretty beat up in the first half of the CFP game. He did get it going in the second half. In the NFL he can expect a lot more of the first half type physical play the entire game. He better stick to baseball. NFL kickers are bigger than him

Anyone who doesnt think he will make it in the NFL hasnt been paying attention. He will be a starter next year if he goes to the right team.

He said its, now will he do it. He has the first pick. Kyler is a freak, Kingsbury said. Id take him with the first pick in the draft if I could. I know hes signed up to play baseball, but he is a dominant football player, and I would take him with the first pick. https://sports.yahoo.com/kliff-king...r-murray-first-pick-draft-160309181.html

I think the NFL is the best place for Murray financially and for his career potential. Only time will tell. A big, fat guaranteed NFL contract starting on day one is hard to beat.

I doubt seriously Murray gets on this forum very often ( read as sarcastic ) so nothing here will motivate him one way or another, so while we are in the mood to speculate or opinionate, would it not be practical to spend another year in college to prove how durable he is and also improve on his craft in football and baseball. The fear among most, and I would include scouts and owners, is whether he could hold up under the beating he would get from full grown men like Khalil Mack, Von Miller and Aaron Donald. As far as him going in the 1st round as even a punt returner is silly. If he's after a long career baseball is the only thing that makes sense. His first football contract would more than likely be his last.

Let's see who his first pick is in Arizona. Murray will still be there when it's their turn.

I've paid attention to others like him and his game won't translate very well to the NFL. Everyone of the defenders in the NFL are the one guy that you plan against in college. JR

I haven't read anywhere someone offering him anything except baseball. Deshaun Watson signed a 4 year contract for $13.85 million as a 1st round pick. You think Murray is worth more ?
