 Keep getting this on Lowrance HDS 12 Gen 3

This keeps popping up while on the water. When at home and connected to WiFi I can’t get it to pop up. It shows all updates are current. Did you plug the sd card with update loaded into the unit before, or after powering up the unit? (Unit needs to be off, updated sd card plugged in - then unit powered up.)

I updated it via WiFi so I did not put a card into it.

OK. I’ve always done it via sd card and computer. Sounds like maybe your unit isn’t connecting to your WiFi source. By the way, I have an abundance of desire to help...but I have less than a low level of expertise. Maybe look around page 46 of the attached info and see if it could help. Best of luck my friend! (By the way, “MFD” referenced in this material stands for Multi-Function Display. Fancy way of saying “the Lowrance unit - I think.) Lowrance HDS Connect

My units are doing the same thing. I loaded my with an sd card. I have a buddy that his unit is doing the same thing. We both have his 12 carbons.
