I wouldn't. Just hit up a power plant lake. The one I've been going to, the fish don't seem as affected by the recent temperature drop. No monsters but consistent 3's and 4's. When was the last time Holbrook fished like that?

Welsh is the only power plant lake within reasonable distance of fork. That's where I would go!! You don't need anything but a split shot rigged fluke out there.

About 18". Use a small clam weight. Works way better than a normal small split shot. And you can fish it a little deeper.
