The Kroger brand salsa is really good.
CCTX was giving me grief on a camp out some years back as I had brought the Kroger brand salsa. Thought I was being cheap. But he was impressed. Try it, you might like it too! Good stuff at a great price. Plenty hot too.
But restaurant wise, I dont recall one standing out. Home made by a Mexican lady seems to be the best in my experience. Be careful in there, some here would have you believe you should watch your step in kroger's Right? And NEVER question the validity of anything you read on TFF... To do so is an insult to someones internet honor. So take it all as gospel and question nothing. PS I saw bigfoot and the yeti in Kroger the other day. They were getting fish sticks and some of that tasty Kroger Salsa... Question this story and I will attack you for calling me a liar.

I haven’t been to very many different restaurants across DFW but around HEB Los Jimadores is pretty good. Also Los Amigos in Grapevine. Los Jimadores is pretty good and hot. the only problem I have with them and actually other places is they act like it's made of pure gold. hard to get a good helping of salsa. I think Chuy's sucks all the way around.......

I think Joe T's food is a little overrated especially for what you have to pay, but they have the best salsa and queso.

I think Joe T's food is a little overrated especially for what you have to pay, but they have the best salsa and queso. a "little"? A lot of the seafood isn't bad at all. The ceviche is reasonable and pretty good. Beef fajita arent bad either but expensive.
