Been a while since I�ve posted anything surf fishing related so I figured id give a quick report. Surf fishing has been decent and should only get better. Lots of bait in the water right now. Been fishing quite a bit lately and have caught numerous bull reds, sharks and stingray. I�ve got 3 surf rods that I deploy. I stagger them when I cast to try to see where the fish are holding. After I catch one then I�ll move the other lines accordingly. I�ve talked to several people on the beach who said they didn�t catch anything. When asked what type of bait they used, they replied with mullet. I�ve had several trips where I couldn�t get bit on mullet but as soon as I changed to croaker, whiting or sand trout, I started catching. So don�t get hung up on one bait or one location. Thank you for your report! I struggled with Mullet earlier this year as well. How far out are the reds hanging right now?
