Considering Klein is a MLF founder I think you can take him off your unknown list.

Clunn and Fritts are staying on the Elites. Don't think Clunn would've left even if he was invited. Pretty sure Faircloth is heavily tied to MLF I could be wrong.

It's really not that important to me who's in and who's out, I'm just excited and ready to see the finished product. I just hope the 3 leagues don't try to destroy each other, there's room for all 3 and above all I hope they don't bring politics into it like the NFL did. The purpose of all 3 should be to promote fishing and the anglers who are competing and I believe they can accomplish this without degrading each other.

Oh, what a world it would be if that were possible. There are more politics than the Whitehouse in professional bass fishing. One thing I know for sure, PBT/MLF is definitely out to destroy BASS and buy it for pennies on the dollar when (and if) it fails.

As to the list of unknowns, Fairclorh, Ish, AMart, Ike, Ashley and Rojas are all almost surely leaving.

Clunn said he doesn't really care for the weigh in system of MLF. Too many chances for human error.

This should make your job writing about B.A.S.S. fantasy fishing much easier, Coy. A mostly new field of anglers to learn about and handicap. I would think you'd be excited about the change.

Can you imagine the amount of sponsor money BPS forks out for TV shows, tournament trails, individual angler sponsorships, buying up boat manufacturer's, etc... Tremendous amount of power in the industry.. I'm divided on if it's good, or not so good. JM2C's

That is exactly right and that model is being used all over the place. It leaves us with the option to embrace it or or not but if we don't embrace it then we get left in the dark.

What I think most are missing is this first batch of guys may not compose all of the best talent but that talent will eventually be there once the ship builds up steam. I think they are smart approaching this as they are because the big picture is what's important. Too many have tunnel vision, look at the big picture in how all this media content is good for us. I know I can't get enough BassLive and MLF and I believe the vast majority have that same mind.
