Nice!  I have an Elite 7 Ti SI/DI in my dash and nothing up front at the moment. I am about to add a Helix 10 Mega DI to the bow and in a few months when the new Ultrex Mega DI Sonar models come out I am swapping the Maxxum to the Ultrex!  I also run an Elite 7 Ti on my Yak but not the same one.

Youre gonna love that boat. I bought one in white a couple months ago. Mine has the SHO on the back and I had shut up and fish install a 7 Ti in the dash and a1198 and an Ultrex on the bow. Going out in the morning. Enjoy that boat.

ya know the console mounted HDS7... I should get it removed and put up front. and I think it would be ok on the yak.
the cost of a big boy display to put on the ram mount by the console is still not pocket change.
the list would be:
Main unit the HDSgen3 9". no wiring
cradle mounts for both to attach to the beefy ram mounts
lower cost xducer for the kayak.
power cord for the Kayak.
mount for yak (thats a constant cost anyway)
this does all cost more, but hmmm buy once cry once.
anyhow just random thoughts there.
