Can anyone tell me where the valves are located for the live well function selectors on a 2005 190 Skeeter? I have replaced the pumps in the past and had to remove the remote oil tank. The valve switch has three positions: Recirc, Empty, and Auto. I'm wondering if I have to remove the fuel tank to get to the selector valve.

Thanks in advance for any info.

My skeeter is a bit older but the valve should be near the transom. Mine is next to the bilge pump in the bottom of the boat. Easy to get to, no need to move the tank. I hope yours is the same.

I have an 03 tzx 190. Are you talking about the valves that open and close to allow water to drain from the back of the boat where the boat plug is? If so then the valves are in the center of the transom where all the hoses are for the livewells where the pumps are located.

I have a '03 TZX190 also......

You have to pull the sprayer out , inside the live wells, in order for the recirculate to become "pump out". The pumps on mine (f-150four stroke) are under the bilge plate, under the 4-bank, and between the four batteries.

A lot of stuff to remove, but doable. I'd even remove the door to the bilge compartment. It would make it easier to get down there.

I have a 2000 SX186. The valve for the port side was easy enough to reach and change but the starboard side was far enough under the gas tank that I couldn't get it. I took it to the shop and they replaced it, but it scraped up the mechanic pretty good. I have no idea why a valve would be that far under the tank.

Haha. I swear, sometimes it's as if the boat is built around certain parts. Totally unrealistic maintenance sometimes.
1. Build hull
2. Install pumps and valves
3. Build everything else on top of or around them.
