I really don't think its flipping between two batteries...the size of the switch and the wires connected to it are a very small gauge...say, around 14/16 gauge. Too small for all that amperage. I'll post when I find out...thanks everyone!

Maybe it's a passenger seat eject switch?

Yeah, I've needed one of those on more than one occasion.

Don't look at the glass as half full or half empty. Look at it as a normal portion of water in a container that's too big. smile <'))))<

Maybe it turns on the fish wink or supplies power to that jack beneath it?

I'm looking at a boat that has this toggle switch between Cruise and Troll. Does anyone know what this switch is for? The boat dealer said he didn't even know.

I would not by the boat from there

It could be a battery switch. If the switch was used to turn in a cinnecting relay the wires would not have to be very big.

Could have something to do with fuel mixture Lean vs Rich. I know on older small outboards that's what you adjusted to get the trolling speed just right. I'd imagine that the 130 Hp Johnson is a VRO. Just guessing on the switch. juggle Maybe it goes to the under seat sub-woofer? cheers On for cruise off for troll. woot

Perhaps it's a switch that handles speed control. For instance, at "cruise" you have control of the speed of your boat by your throttle. Set it at "troll" then your boat's speed is automatically set for trolling. Just an idea.

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10
