Who likes what scent & when to use???? what type of baits to put scent on.... I started using Donald Harper's craw and minnow sauce about mid last year and it is by far my favorite. I like how it's more of an oil and not a thin liquid spray. It seems to stay on the bait longer and when the bait doesn't feel oily any more I know it's time to put more on. With the other brands its not as easy, in my opinion, to know when it's time to add more. Donald Harper is also a local fishin Texan which is a big + in my book. DM him on the TFF and he'll get you all the info you'd ever need about scent and how to use it.

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

Many companies do just that. Now you have two different scents mixed. Pure extract is the way to go. Here is my old recipe that I used when I made it myself. Used Minnow as the example; but the same goes for Night Crawlers and Crayfish tails hulled.
- 6 doz. minnows in a blender; chopped to a mush. - Pressure cooked for 15 minutes. - Strained through a cheese cloth twice. - Pour up the oils in baby food jars and freeze for future use.
Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success. I was skeptical at first using scents. Now reading more people use it than I thought, I feel better about my purchase. Even if it is a confidence booster, that alone is worth the cost. But, looks like others are getting some use out of something that would otherwise be another gimmick like helicopter lures.

My friend uses scent impregnated worms. Chompers are his favorite. I've been fishing next to him in the boat and these worms are tearing up the bass. He lost a 9 plus at the boat and has caught many nice fish on scented worms.
