Anyone have any suggestions for vacuum-sealed ground beef 90-10 or better around Mckinney? 93-7 would be preferable... Sam's has 85-15 but it is too greasy and I ain't payin' $10 per pound for organic, grass fed, hugged daily beef from a members-only Walmart!

Honestly HP I never buy vacuumed packed ground beef-
I just don’t trust it the way I do buying from a store that a butcher grinds daily from-
Good luck on the search though-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

When I can find sirloin for 2.99/lb, I buy in bulk, grind it, and vacuum seal it.

I was kicking around the idea of getting a vacuum sealer, esp since Bass Pro is having them for 30% off right now... just seems like between buying bags and the sealer it would take awhile to recoup investment besides clean-up etc...

You can seal anything, it doesnt have to be ground beef

We use ours a ton. We use the rolls, not bags and can order them from amazon cheaper. Bass pro is way over priced on just about everything so look around at other places.

We buy our meat in bulk at Costco and vacuum seal into individual portions.

The Wal-Mart we shop at carries 3 ratios. 85-15, 90-10 and 93-7. Plus ground chuck and ground round. All less than $5.00/lb.
