Does anyone use a neoprene life jacket when fishing? When I'm bundled up, my old flotation device is cumbersome. So I bought a mustang inflatable. Now there's a lot of talk about them not inflating, or not fully. Saw a post about Basspro XPS neoprene jackets.
I can't find the weight specs for the XPS neoprene jackets. What say you?

I really think that the problem with the inflatable PFD's is mainly having them come off if you were to hit the water at high speeds, not having a strap that goes in between your legs to keep it in place.
I have been fishing in my inflatable PFD, and then I'll switch to my conventional vest while on the big motor. It sounds a little excessive, but with what all has happened lately, it's been a wake-up call for me.

Ive used neoprene vests while skiing, tubing, etc. my problem with using one while fishing would be getting it over my clothes. All the ones Ive used are tight fitting. So maybe summer time when driving. But I wouldnt wear one all day long. They are warm when not in the water.
Wishin I was Fishin!!!
