Does anyone use a neoprene life jacket when fishing?
When I'm bundled up, my old flotation device is cumbersome.
So I bought a mustang inflatable.
Now there's a lot of talk about them not inflating, or not fully.
Saw a post about Basspro XPS neoprene jackets.

I can't find the weight specs for the XPS neoprene jackets.
What say you?

I really think that the problem with the inflatable PFD's is mainly having them come off if you were to hit the water at high speeds, not having a strap that goes in between your legs to keep it in place.

I have been fishing in my inflatable PFD, and then I'll switch to my conventional vest while on the big motor. It sounds a little excessive, but with what all has happened lately, it's been a wake-up call for me.

I�ve used neoprene vests while skiing, tubing, etc. my problem with using one while fishing would be getting it over my clothes. All the ones I�ve used are tight fitting. So maybe summer time when driving. But I wouldn�t wear one all day long. They are warm when not in the water.
