So now all of a sudden Garret is a POS? No, he's Been a POS since day one, but the OT DC faithful wouldn't hear of it. Maybe finally Jerry will see the light and get someone in there who can lead a team, but I doubt it. He's as much the problem as anything else is. Dilly Dilly, Garrett to the misery pit.

Truth is Garrett is as good as it's going to get as long a Jerry is running the show. No real coach is going to want to work for Jerry because of his meddling. Parcels was the last good coach to work for Jerry. And he got undermined on the whole T.O. deal. Garrett is the best yes man for the job.

Looks like 8-8, maybe 9-7 with the Eagles resting on the last game. Final Wild Card spot isn't out of the question yet. The Seattle game looks to be a big one. But Of the wild card contenders Detroit has a pretty soft schedule going forward. Their loss today was big for the Boys.

Wait a minute, every time something good happens it is because Jerry is not running the team, Stephen and Will Mcclay are doing it all, then when something goes wrong it is dumb arse jerry at fault. Garrett is the coach because they feel he is the man for the job, not because he is Jerry's puppet, I would have no problem if they hired a new coach and let him bring his people in, it would be a very short list, Peyton, Zimmer, and that is about it, Bellicek not coming here.

Worse most incompetent GM in all of sports hiring a GOOD head coach ? Don't think so. Jerry got his HOF ring, his new stadium and a but full of money, he's a happy camper. He knows and has found out people will come to the games in droves to watch a 5-11 team and he's got one. I'm not blaming no one but Jerry, it's starts at the top. And RickS is right, very few if any good head coachs will come here because they know Jerry is running the show.

You may be missing the point that very few good coaching candidates would be even willing to work for Jerry, I think most would be hesitant in coming to the cowboys because of his BS. He has a reputation for bringing drama, conflict and controversy with him with each and every step he takes. I cant believe you can even fix your lips to say that garret isn't his puppet, everyone who gets involved with jerry is his puppet, that's just the way he is.

I've been saying for years that Garrett is a bad coach. Was criticized by many on here for it.
Entire coaching staff needs to go IMHO. Trade Dez. Draft more O-linemen. Find some free agents in the secondary. Get a MLB who can stay on the field.
We can't run. We can't protect Dez. When he gets the ball out, receivers drop it. And we can't stop anybody on the other side of the ball. We're not awful if everyone is healthy, but this isn't a super bowl contender even if everyone's healthy either.

Sigh.....great players make coaches...not the other way around. He's not getting fired this year if they lose out. Too much going on to justify it in their minds.... I don't care. I am more mad about being right about DAK..... he's lost

I am more mad about being right about DAK..... he's lost Dak is fine. There's not much he can do when they can't run, can't pass protect, can't get separation, and can't catch the ball. He gets forced into pressing to get them back in the game and the other team makes plays. I don't think any of that is on Dak. He has a 50 yard rushing TD today if it weren't for an irrelevant penalty on Tyron, who is trying real hard to do his best Flozell Adams impersonation with all the false starts, holding penalties, and bad blocking this season.
