Go green, go with the Stihl 58V lithium battery. You will thank me down the road. Go test one before you judge. Lasts 2 hours before you have to recharge. I'll second this. What I like is that you can use them inside the house.

All my lawn equipment is Echo except my blower. Its a Husqy and its eays to work on and parts are easy to get. Its hast let me down and I dont have any issues with power. Its a backpack blower and does the job for me. And I do lawns during spring and summer all over DFW.
Youll have your die hard users for each brand but I think of the two brands you listed you wont go wrong.

Take a look at Redmax. That's what I have and it's a beast.

I have the Echo PB-500T. I love it. I think I paid ~300 brand new about 6 years ago from Home Depot, but they have newer models out now. After 3-4 years it wouldn't idle very well. I replaced the spark plug and the air filter and it has been great. If I had to choose Stihl vs Husky I would chose Stihl for no other reason than parts and service would be easier for me to get than with the Husky. Plus, Stihl products look cool . This is the newer model of the Echo, FYI: https://www.homedepot.com/p/ECHO-215-MPH...-580T/205894359

Thanks, Billy
