All my lawn equipment is Echo except my blower. It�s a Husqy and it�s eays to work on and parts are easy to get. It�s hast let me down and I don�t have any issues with power. It�s a backpack blower and does the job for me. And I do lawns during spring and summer all over DFW.

You�ll have your die hard users for each brand but I think of the two brands you listed you won�t go wrong.

I have the Echo PB-500T. I love it. I think I paid ~300 brand new about 6 years ago from Home Depot, but they have newer models out now. After 3-4 years it wouldn't idle very well. I replaced the spark plug and the air filter and it has been great.

If I had to choose Stihl vs Husky I would chose Stihl for no other reason than parts and service would be easier for me to get than with the Husky. Plus, Stihl products look cool smile.
