I was looking at Tackle Warehouse.....

With the Dobyns rod, Do you prefer the Casting Crankbait 806 or the Glass 806? What are the advantages of either.

I prefer the graphite rod over the glass rod. Glass is good for some people, but I have found over the years, that I prefer the graphite rod. Just back your drag off so a 3# fish can pull a little drag, that way you won't rip the hooks out of the fishes mouth. You do not normally have that problem with the glass rod. I have tried SOME of the glass rods from Dobyns, but not the 806, so it depends on what you are wanting. If you want a more forgiving rod, go with glass, if you want more sensitivity, go with the graphite rod. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Dobyns doesnt make a glass 806.
