What rod are you guys using for 10xd's and LC skeet reese magnum cranks? I've got a 7-11 BPS crankin stick but it's a little soft for these bigger cranks.

I would go with one of the new St. Croix Legend Glass rods or a Phenix Composite X Cranking X14. The Phenix rod is bad to the bone.

I'm using a Dobyns champion 805 CB RM right now. Its a hair overloaded on 10xds and C25s but it will launch them a long way and handles the retrieve better than you'd think.

Powertackle has a rod specifically for 8XD and 10XD that is awesome. Makes the crankbait a effortless on your arms from the torque.

My vote is for the Dobyns 806 rod mentioned above. It handles the big boys with more ease than anything else I have thrown. Light and sensitive, too. Better than the 805 CB RM rod, because it is only rated to 1.5 oz, but it can handle them in a pinch. The 806 is THE ROD for my deep diving CBs. Rated from 1/2 to 2 oz. Hope this helps. OH, Dobyns I have found makes some of the best, IF NOT THE BEST Cranking rods. Looked a LONG time to find them, but not leaving now that I did. Tight liens, keep safe and good luck.
