Where is a good location go on vacation? 1. Pull the boat so can fish. 2. Must be luxury place because Vicki doesn't do camping. 3.Have good restaurants in the area. 4.Place on the water with lake view. 5.Beautiful Lake. Help. Thanks

We just did a family vacation to Table Rock lake in Missouri just outside of Branson. Beautiful lake with numerous options for lakeside stay. Lots of shows/shopping/amusement parks/other within 10-15 min for those who don't want to fish or want to escape the lake for a bit.

I'm not sure how far you want to drive and for how long, but I have taken two trips for 3-day weekends in the past year to Flowing Wells Resort on Lake Texoma. 2 hours away from you. Loved it the first time so I went back a second time and took the wife who prefers not to rough it: http://www.dfwresort.com/lake-texoma-rentals/It's a gated community (they give you a code) so I felt very safe because nobody is there that doesn't belong. They have a ramp and small marina. It's angler-friendly and they have open boat slips and let me keep my boat in a covered slip with no extra charge so I didn't have to launch and load the boat every day. They have different cabin options. I chose the nicest ones which are 30 feet from the water and have great views with porches and grills. I was there 4 months ago and stayed in this cabin out on the point. Put these coordinates in google maps and turn on the satellite view: 33.771527, -96.789104 Prices are very reasonable. The main downside is this is not the central location of fishing activity on that lake, but I made a 15 minute run out to the main lake and explored the coves easily. The only thing on your list that's missing is good restaurants. You have to drive 15 minutes into town because this is out in the sticks.

You would be hard pressed to find a better lake vacation than Broken Bow in Oklahoma. One of the most beautiful lakes anywhere. No cabins on the water but the cabins are beautiful and have all the amenities one could ask for, some have a 2nd floor. Fish for bass, small mouth, Walleye, trout, etc. Closer is Harbor Marina at Possum Kingdom. They do have a water view motel and boat slips to rent and another beautiful lake. Not sure about the restaurants, have never eaten there but the scenery and fishing is great.

Broken Bow Lake and State Park are absolutely pristine. However, the bass aren't biting. I recommend waiting until October.

Possum Kingdom has great lodging, the harbor restaurant and possum hollow have great food. My family loves it there and sounds like our wives have the same requirements. I like to stay at the PK hideaway cabins but there are tons of options. The bass bite has been good, not sure on the strippers. Some guys on here will tell you to fish the hydrilla mats.
Good luck!

Good luck! I think he said he was taking his wife.

It would kind of e a staycation since its only an hour or two away, but Rough Creek Lodge would be a good choice. Incredible fishing as well as many other activities to choose from and its upscale.
Next I'd suggest Broken Bow, do a google search and you can find all kinds of really nice cabins. The scenery around there is phenomenal and it fishes similar to what you like to do Tony. Its a true get a way.

I'd go with Big Cedar Lodge. They really have a nice thing going on there.
