That is awesome bud!! I can't wait until my twins get old enough to get out on the boat and fish with me. As soon as my wife and I found out that we were having twins, a boy and a girl, I went straight to Walmart from the Dr's office and got him a Cars rod and her a princess rod. I just hope they have the passion for bass fishing like I do and that I get an experience like you had sir.

Thanks guys for all the replies, it made my sons day! My little girl who is 12 was in the boat with us that day and she was the one taking the picture. She landed a huge 25 inch hybrid bass that day as well. She was on her spinning reel and was using a slab, which she is deadly with. Matter of fact I copy her when she jigs anything, because her presentation is so effective. She is a teacher at heart and has helped my little guy learn the ropes, so that catch was just as much her doing as it was mine. She was my first fishing partner and can pull a full 5am till 9pm day without a complaint (as long as she gets to go swimming to cool off).  Yes, I was wearing a trash bag, kids came first with rain gear and I just red necked it. Bass crackin, Congrats on twins!! I have 3 kids 18yo boy, 12yo girl and 5yo boy. Camping and perch fishing got them hooked. My eldest loves hunting way more and luckily I married me a farm girl who's daddy owns 5k acres, my son basically lives there,lol. But my other two, though they like to shoot and hunt, both have a strong passion for fishing. My liitle girl wants a pink Ranger bass boat and my little boy wants my jon. So just introduce them to the wild believe me 18 years go by in a blink of an eye! You will be glad you made all those memories. Cool, reminds me of when I would go with my dad rain, sleet or snow, it didn't matter and I would cry when he went to work, thinking he would go fishing without me....great stuff!!!
