I love it. Every year around Thanksgiving you can buy Prime for half price. Totally worth it.

I live out in the country so it is great for us.
I order things for my son who goes to school in Arlington. Sometimes the stuff I order for him gets delivered the same day.

If you don't think it's worth $99, don't sigh up for it.

I just had a $150 charge show up on my CC, I have not been a prime member in the past.

I called and they said they would credit my CC next month.

I have done the 30 day free trial at least 3 times over the past couple years.

they lose money on me, I get most stuff in 2 days and overall probably come out way way ahead on shipping vs driving at least 50 miles round trip.
and yes, you do buy stuff you normally might not (or so I hear).

have bought rifle scopes/accesssories/barrels for 10/22/traps and all kinds of stuff.
replaced the front rotors/pads on the truck with vented/slotted rotors/ceramic pads for right at 200.00, delivered free.

just have to be sure the prime symbol is on the item, I use the button on the left to show only prime eligible stuff.

if you shop wally world they now have the same thing for the most part, no membership required.

I have used the ship to store for free shipping but not the ship to home yet.

ordered my tires this way, caught on a killer sale and saved about half the cost.
